Dr. Tzepos is a 1989 graduate of The University of Connecticut where he majored in physiology and neurobiology. He went on to attend The New England College of Optometry where he earned his doctorate of Optometry degree in 1993.  Upon completion of his residency at the Veteran's hospital in Newington, CT, he joined Dr. William H. Hissey's practice in Seymour. When Dr. Hissey retired, he assumed ownership of the practice and has been practicing in Seymour for over 20 years.

He is board certified with the American Board of Optometry, a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and is active in the Seymour Lions Club.

Dr. Tzepos grew up in Oxford and resides in Bethany with his family.
